About The Nashville Beatles Fans Meetup Group

This group is for persons of all ages who love the music of the Beatles; older fans who got turned on to the Beatles in the 60's as well as younger fans who just recently discovered "the boys", their music and their movies! It's my hope that we'll have fun getting to know each other and hearing each other's opinions on music, books and films by the Beatles or about them. Perhaps some group members will bring some of their Beatles memorabilia to the meetings while other members may want to start a discussion of a recent book they've read about the Beatles. I don't anticipate any hard and fast "rules"; we'll just kind of make it up as we get to know each other. Fun for all and all for fun!

Please don't join if you're looking for some kind of online discussion group or Beatles memorabilia collectors' group. We meet at least 11 times per year, face to face. We sometimes go as a group to hear tribute bands or cover bands play or perhaps plan other activities for our members. Sometimes, we just meet somewhere and eat a bite, talk about any new music releases by The Beatles or solo works, any new books we've read, and just talk about all things Beatles! One of our members is an artist and often brings some of her work to show or maybe someone will bring some Beatles item they just purchased thru e-Bay. We're a laid-back bunch, but we always seem to have lots of fun whenever we get together.

We always post the date, place and time for our meetups at least 2 weeks in advance to give everyone plenty of time to RSVP. We ask that all members RSVP every month. It only takes a minute or less and please note that RSVP means reply or respond, if you please. Therefore, even if you will not be attending a meetup, you still need to respond. If you say you'll be there, we expect you to show up or to e-mail the Organizer or Assistant Organizer, even if you send that e-mail 30 minutes before you're supposed to be at the meetup. We understand that emergencies do come up, but please keep us in the loop. It all boils down to this: use the manners that your parents taught you!

If you fail to RSVP three times in a one-year period, you may be removed from the group. If you say you're coming to a meetup and then don't show and don't contact the Organizer or Assistant Organizer twice in a one-year period, you may be removed from the group. We prefer to deal with members who take the time to communicate with us and attend meetings.

At this time, we ask that members pay dues of $6.00 every six months. Dues are required whether or not you attend any scheduled meetups or other activities. If you pay the dues and then drop out for some reason, you will be refunded a pro-rated amount.

We want members who are passionate about The Beatles and their music and films. We want members who will show up and participate to make this group more fun for everyone! If this sounds like you, then we welcome you to The Nashville Beatles Fans Meetup!
