Well, weather permitting, we are set for our January meetup! Many thanks for Joe for finding a suitable place for us to meet in Clarksville and working out the details. After out meetup is over, a friend of Joe's will be playing some live Beatles music for us. His name is Ben and I understand he is quite talented and plays often around the Clarksville area. Ben will play from 2:00-3:00 and then beginning around 3:15 or so, Alex, one of our meetup members, will provide karaoke for a "Beatles sing-along".
We are meeting at the Ice House Cafe, 118 University Ave. in Clarksville. Joe tells me that it should be fairly quiet there and the food is okay. There are only about 3 parking spaces in front of the restaurant, but Joe says there is additional parking nearby.
Directions are fairly simple and available from MapQuest. Sorry, I went to their website and wrote everything down and then left it on the kitchen table this morning along with my lunch that I forgot to bring! I will try to remember to bring the directions tomorrow or you can go to MapQuest and print them off for yourself. If anyone wants to carpool from Nashville, please let me know and we'll try to get something set up.
Please remember to bring a list of your Beatles books to the meetup. If there are any you have that you would be willing to loan to another member of the meetup, please indicate that on your list. If you'd rather not loan out your books, that's certainly okay, too! This will help us in our book discussion and also I hope we can talk about the new "Love" CD!
