Hello, everyone! After a ten week hiatus, Yesterday And Today will be performing three sets on Sunday, May 18th at the 5th Avenue Street Fair in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Weather permitting, the show will be 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM in front of La Villa Italian Restaurant, located at 261 5th Avenue (between Garfield Place & 1st Street). 718.499.9888. This show will be sort of a warm-up show for our busy upcoming summer, and also to dust off these old bones (ten weeks is a long time to go without playing, especially at our advanced ages!). If the weather holds up, it's surely going to be a great day of food and music. Come on out, bring the family and have a delicious lunch/dinner at New York's BEST Italian restaurant (no exaggeration), and tell 'em Mike from the Beatles band sent you!

"A splendid time is guaranteed for all!"

PS: If you remember a while back, I posted a thread saying that I spotted Marky Ramone eating lunch at La Villa, Park Slope.

I am pleased to announce that myself and three hungry boys of mine will be attending this event, eating Brooklyn Calzone, and listening to fab tunes from Yesterday and Today! As they say, groovin on a Sunday afternoon!

Hey, Hank. I'm looking forward to seeing you and the kids again. The last time, and only time, I met them was at our Triad show back in December. Let's hope for pleasant weather on Sunday. By the way.....will your boys possibly be at YOUR show tomorrow night, or is it too late of a school night for them?

Looking forward to your set. With what you have cooked-up, it's sure to be a blast!
Thanks,
Mike

Regina, looking forward to seeing you, Jay and Evan Thomas on Sunday. Let's hope for decent weather, unlike today. Ugh!

PS: Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!

Can I pre-call in for the Calzone?

Hey, Hank! I don't think that's going to be necessary. Plus, you want it fresh and hot, right out of the oven on Sunday. La Villa will have their front, French doors open so anyone wishing to sit at the counter/bar to eat and drink, will be also be able to listen and watch the band as well.

As of right now I'm getting mixed weather reports for Sunday, but it's still a ways away. Let's wait until later in the week for the update.

See you soon,
Mike

PS: It was great seeing NPT last night. Despite the few technical difficulties, you guys put on a great show!
