Hi. I am new to this group and found it while researching Beatles albums. The reason I was researching was because I have a set of albums that are in ex cond and never been on a turntable. The list is as follows..Yellow Submarine -A Hard Days Night-Help-Revolver-Rarities-Hey Jude-Abbey rd-Beatles For sale-Please Please Me-With The Beatles-Let It be-Rubber Soul-The Essential Beatles-White Album.

Unfortunately I am having to find ways of raising some dollars and I am possibly forced to sell my "babies" as I refer to them.

Can anyone help with info on what they are possibly worth and who deals in such things. I am a widow with 5 kids and dont wanna get ripped off as I have kept and loved these albums for a long time.

As I stated before the albums all have their inner sleeves and have never been played (and yes the temptation has been great). The covers are in ex cond also. If anyone can help pls email or ph on 0418463055

Hi Alyson,

Welcome to the Meetup Beatles forum. I can't give you a valuation for your albums but you may want to tap into one of the many dealers out there. I have a few listed on my site at Beatle-fans.com, although I am not aware of Australian dealers. Another good resource for something like this is Bruce Spizer who has written books about Beatles recordings. His website is http://www.beatle.net... so check that out too.

Hidden in his website is a wonderful article he wrote for Goldmine, a record collectors magazine, where he gave the skinny on the Paul is Dead hoax. My Paul is dead article give a link to his and the story is fascinating: http://www.beatle-fan...

I suggest that if you list your albums on ebay or something, make sure that you show the labels and indicate whether the white album is numbered and has the poster.

good luck,

Kat
